Carolyn Wilman comes to the world of contesting and sweepstakes with over thirty years of marketing experience. For the past twenty years, she has run her own marketing consulting business specializing in promotional and event marketing. She has a unique perspective having ‘sat at both sides of the table’, as both marketer and competitor. As such, she is able to help her clients understand promotions from their customers’ perspective and avoid the types of mistakes repeatedly occurring in sweepstakes.

Past Engagements
Since 2005, Carolyn has either spoken or lead workshops at several Annual National Sweepstakes Convention(s) and SweepsCon. She has been a guest speaker at many colleges including TriOs, Ontario Tech, Durham College and Centennial College. Ahead of her time, Carolyn has been presenting and teaching online since 2013 on a wide variety of topics (see above).

To date, Carolyn’s been on Canada AM (3x), Breakfast Television (5x in various cities), City TV News (2x), CP24, CTV National News Net Success Stories, More 2 Life and The Mom Show along with a CBC documentary and a pilot for TLC. Radio stations have picked-up on her book as well. She’s been on CBC Radio (2x), The John Oakley Show, The Charles Adler Show along with many smaller regional radio stations. Carolyn was featured on the cover of Marketing Magazine and in numerous print media articles: In The News.
Professional Affiliations
Member of Toastmasters International since 2006. Carolyn received her Advanced Leadership Bronze in 2015, Advanced Communicator Bronze in 2016 and Advanced Communicator Silver in 2019. In 2020 she won the Area 44 International Speech Contest and placed 2nd in the Division E International Speech Contest. She is also the President of Lunchtime Talkers for the 20/21 year.
